What is the Weird West?
In a nutshell, Weird Westerns combines the Old West aesthetic with other genres ranging from horror, scifi and fantasy. Examples include Wynonna Earp, Prey, Cowboys and Aliens, Dead in the West, The Dark Tower, and many others. These stories might feature werewolves, demons, zombies, ghosts, aliens, magic and otherworldly happenings in Old West settings or stories with Old West elements.
